Children's Party Assistant
Overview:
The main focus of this role is to run birthday parties for primary school aged children. The activities include Bouncy castles, football, multi sports and roller discos. Delivering these parties safely and enjoyably for the children is of prime importance. The candidate must be able to work at weekends, evenings and during school holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering birthday parties
- Ensure awareness and be responsible for children’s safety at all times
- Prepare beforehand and clean up after the birthday parties
- Demonstrate activities to children, incorporating health and safety
- Engage with parents and children to ensure they have a positive experience
- Ensure all equipment is clean and safe to use
- To report on all Health and Safety occurrences including hazards, near misses and incidents
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using computer software and applications
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Punctual
- Has excellent Verbal communication skills
- Ability to control and hold a groups attention
- Ability to plan and deliver activities
- Ability to act professionally under pressure
