  • To deliver In-house high quality, creative  graphic design for all areas across Peterborough Limited (P-Ltd)
  • To be the brand guardian and be accountable for all the creative output for P-Ltd
  • To enhance the image and profitability of P-Ltd across all and any parts of its business
  • To deliver efficient service to internal clients to ensure business needs are met
  • Brand guardian and key contact for establishing requirements at briefing stage
  • Creation from ideas, to proposed designs, creative process management, approvals and solutions that are customer focused and on brand
  • Responsible for future planning of creative solutions for key events to c. 18 months in advance 
  • Provides proactive solutions to customer challenges in partnership other teams
  • Main lead contact for third party partnership and sponsorship creative execution to enable sponsor opportunities
  • Delivers creative design, relevant to our target audience(s), in both offline and online communication and service channels
  • Brainstorm ideas with colleagues  to meet the Marketing briefs for upcoming design projects and marketing campaigns and manage  expectations
  • Attends team meetings and visits to venues and users services to get a full understanding of the overall marketing strategy for and for customer insight to inform creative
  • Manage highly variable workload and meet deadlines
  • Work to agreed design briefs to deliver high quality creative communications
  • Lead for the production/editing of Video and web content
  • Obtain feedback and sign off from relevant staff member/head of department/service managers
  • Produce high resolution finished artwork ready for print or online use
  • Liaise with printers to ensure artwork meets their requirements
  • To execute and manage the design of all creative materials and responsive communications for the company.
  • To manage the traffic flow of creative and design work through the company
  • To manage creative input and approvals of third party agencies
  • As and when needed procure and manage freelance contractors and creative output from third party agencies
  • As and when needed carry out creative output for third parties
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Extensive knowledge of design and experience working in a fast paced organisation adapting to meet design solutions that meet the needs of the customer and brief (E)
  • A good creative thinker (E)
  • Accuracy and attention to detail (E)
  • Experience of managing time to deliver multiple projects to deadline with multiple stakeholders (E)
  • Ability to concentrate on multiple projects & deliver high end creative solutions to briefs (E)
  • Good stakeholder management skills to positively deliver solutions whilst getting the most from the brief owner to inform the creative output (E)
  • Excellent knowledge and successful application of Adobe Creative Suite (E)
  • Ability to work within a high volume campaign design job environment (E)
  • Successful working within both offline and online environments (E)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages (E)
  • Knowledge of HTML desirable for emails  (E)
  • Ability to produce video content (E)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects

 

  • HND/Degree or in relevant discipline or equivalent (E) 
  • 4 years working within a design agency, creative dept. of a marketing communications agency and/or member of in house team within a corporate (D)
  • GCSEs C grade or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths  or equivalent (D) 
  • Understand  of the importance of Health and Safety (E)
  • Understand of the importance of and commitment to Equalities and Diversity (E)
