Summer Reading Challenge

Summer Reading Challenge

Space Chase - launching Saturday 13th July!

Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge 2019 theme is Space Chase, an out-of-this-world adventure inspired by the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.

Children taking part in the Challenge will join a super space family, The Rockets, for a thrilling mission to track down books nabbed by mischievous aliens!

Space Chase will feature bespoke artwork from top children's illustrator, Adam Stower, and will celebrate adventure, exploration, reading and fun!

Complete the Challenge by reading six library books over the summer holidays, and receive a certificate.

Sign up and get a free collector folder to keep your special stickers.

Collect all six stickers and special giveaways as you read. It’s fun and, best of all, it’s totally FREE.

The challenge is suitable for ages 4-11, but younger siblings can take part in our mini-challenge and collect stickers for books shared at home.

The Summer Reading Challenge website is now live all year round. You can find out about great books you might want to read, play games and more!

Last year, more than 2000 children across Peterborough took part in the Reading Challenge.
