Overview
Everything you need to start a career in personal training. This course provides you with the skills you need to be able to plan, deliver and supervise safe and effective exercise programmes within a gym or health club. As your learning progresses, you will them develop these skills to a more professional level to become a certified personal trainer.

Prerequisites: This course is for learners aged 16+ with a keen interest in fitness and sport.
Awarding body: Active IQ
The course is a combination of face-to-face and online learning. The face-to-face elements will take place in the gym at Hampton Leisure Centre on Friday evenings, from 4.30pm to 9.00pm.
Key dates
Sessions will run for 12 weeks from 27th November 2026.
Level 2 assessment - Saturday 16th January 2027.
Level 3 assessment - Saturday 27th February 2027.
