Overview

This qualification builds on your knowledge and skills in gym instruction, allowing you to pursue a career in personal training. It will give you the skills to work for a gym or as a freelance trainer, coaching clients on a one-to-one or group basis. You will also be equipped with a comprehensive understanding of the business, finance and marketing side of being a personal trainer and retaining a client base.

Prerequisites: This course is for learners aged 16+ with a keen interest in fitness and sport.

Awarding body: Active IQ

The course is a combination of face-to-face and online learning. The face-to-face elements will take place in the gym at Hampton Leisure Centre. Dates and timings TBC.
