I have been a Vivacity member for 20 years which consisted of mainly swimming, however just recently I have been using the gym and feel it makes me less stressed as I work in the NHS. It also gives me time to relax and I feel so much better after. It is good to exercise for a happy and healthy mind.
I have now set myself targets since I have been using the gym. I’m going to walk the distance of Hadrian’s Wall which is 117 km long.
My other goal is to bike Land’s End to John O’ Groats ,that’s 874 miles, and in the summer I’m swimming the English Channel 21 miles.
The gym has given me more motivation to complete these challenges and my confidence has grown massively.
