Key Theatre Summer Reading Challenge
Join us for a fun and rewarding summer reading challenge where children are encouraged to read then benefit from free family cinema shows!
The challenge entitles children to free admission for them and their families (up to 6 tickets) to see selected Family Film Shows when they present a completed book review at any of our Libraries!
Upon receipt of a book report, a unique code will be provided to the child’s parent or guardian by our helpful library staff to use on the Key Theatre booking website.
You will note that there will be an opportunity to enter in this code and when entered this will zero your basket and therefore your tickets will be free of charge! Alternatively you can contact the box office on 01733 207239 or visit the Key Theatre in person and speak to our box office staff will be delighted to process your booking (Opening hours 10am – 4pm, Mon – Fri)
Please note that although tickets are available on the day of screenings, we would always encourage customers to arrange their tickets in advance to avoid disappointment – Tickets are on a first come, first served basis
Upon receiving your code, you can book tickets on our booking system below
Finally though we only require one book review for a party of 6 (including adults) we would actively encourage all other children attending to write up a review where possible
Sun 1st August @ 10am
Sun 8th August @ 10am
Sun 15th August @ 10am
We hope to see you at the Key Theatre this summer, and if you’re lucky, your book report will be on screen for all to see!
You can download the book report here, or pop into the Key Theatre, Museum or your local Library!
Terms & Conditions
- Completed book review required for up to 6 tickets to any selected film
- To be eligible for this programme, you must visit the library to present your book review. You will then be handed a code to use for the film during that week
- Tickets will only be available for the film that week, therefore you will not be able to claim tickets for future shows until the previous show has concluded
The Key Theatre offers a year round program of arts and entertainment for all ages, including Peterborough's longest running traditional family pantomime.
To take a look at what's on offer or to buy your tickets now, follow the 'Book now' link and have a browse via our new online box office system (may open in a new window).
Please note that, with our new system, any bank payments made for tickets to Key Theatre performances may be listed on your statement as ‘TicketSolve’ (rather than ‘Key Theatre’ or 'Vivacity' as may have displayed previously). This is the name of the company who run the new booking system and is completely normal and expected. Your bookings will be otherwise unaffected.
Any tickets previously booked for the Key Theatre will transfer over to the new box office system automatically. You do not need to take any further action.
We look forward to welcoming you back to the Key Theatre once government guidelines declare it is safe to do so.
