Join us for a fascinating event with writers Eva Jordan and Darren O’Sullivan, who both have strong links to Peterborough.
They will be talking about their lives as authors, and about their books. Both write compelling and gripping novels, with twists to keep you guessing, in very different styles. They will be in conversation about how they get their ideas, their ways of writing and much more … and reading from their latest books.
Darren’s novels are compelling psychological thrillers, whilst Eva is inspired by the drama of family life, with her novels being both funny and dark at the same time.
Eva was born in Kent but has lived most of her life locally. She has a BA Honours Degree in English and History and describes herself as a lover of words, books, travel and chocolate––and the odd glass or two of wine. Her career has been varied, including working for the library service and in a women's refuge, and she is both a mum and step mum to four adult children. Some of the antics of family life have also provided Eva with the inspiration for her three novels, 183 Times A Year, All The Colours In Between, and Time Will Tell––all of which are family based dramas that take a delightfully funny, but sometimes tragic and poignant look at contemporary family life.
Darren O'Sullivan is the author of #1 bestsellers, OUR LITTLE SECRET, CLOSE YOUR EYES and CLOSER THAN YOU THINK. Darren has had his books translated for the Polish Market and has enjoyed bestseller status in the UK, America, Canada and Australia with all three titles. When Darren isn't writing, he is usually rolling around on the floor, pretending to be a pirate with his 4 year old.
